New Orleans Vets Rally Calls for Freedom of College Choice for Veterans

6/5/2019

Veterans from Louisiana gathered in New Orleans to protect veterans' access at taxpaying career colleges. Many of the veterans in attendance were students studying in fields such at process technology, construction management and massage therapy.

Pete Hegseth, veteran advocate and Senior Fox News Correspondent, joined the rally advocating for a veteran's right to use their earned benefits at the school of their choice.
I don’t care if you are a Republican or a Democrat, a conservative or a liberal. There shouldn’t be a concerted effort by folks in DC to shut down schools providing great opportunities for veterans.

Army veterans Kenneth and Stacy also joined VCE co-chair, Michael Dakduk, calling on Senator Cassidy to protect the right of veterans to use their earned benefits at the school of their choice. Senator Cassidy sits on both the education and veterans’ affairs committees and plays an important role on issues such as the 90/10 rule.
